A – Buses also stop on the main road (Avenida dos
Descobrimentos) at the traffic lights, at the junction with Avenida do
Ténis, near the Dolphins roundabout.
This is the nearest stop to the OLD TOWN (Centro Antigo) of Albufeira. Timetable as for Páteo. Check this map for the location of bus stops in Albufeira.
Páteo is also served daily at least once each hour by the GIRO red route (Giro 1) to and from the Albufeira Bus Terminal and Old Town.
B - click here for a
diagram of the various bus stops in Guia, which is ¾ mile/1.2km
from Algarve Shopping, Iceland etc.
I DO NOT recommend you walk. The road is extremely busy and there is no footpath or lighting most of the way.
C – Buses stop at the bus station in Rua Primeiro do Maio, just outside the town centre. Map here
D - this stop is at the top end of 'The Strip' E - the bus station is 1 mile/1.6km from the Old Town
F - shopping centre, large supermarket on two floors.
