 IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO CHANGE TO OR FROM THE TRAIN AT LAGOS :-
  THE RAILWAY STATION IS FIVE MINUTES WALK FROM THE BUS TERMINAL, BY THE FOOTBRIDGE
ACROSS THE RIVER AND PAST THE MARINA
IT IS A LIFTING BRIDGE FOR BOATS AND MIGHT OPEN UP IN FRONT OF YOU! BE AWARE IF TIMES ARE TIGHT.

There are buses every 30/60 minutes from the station into town on weekdays. Weekend service is both irregular and infrequent.
How far from (x) to the village?
Approximate distances – Burgau (X) to Burgau about 2 kilometres, Barão São Miguel (X) to Barão São Miguel about 3 kilometres;
Salema (X) to Salema about 1.7 kilometres down (and back up) a VERY steep hill!
The stop called Salema (X) is very near the entrance to the Parque da Floresta golf and holiday resort.
