This bus runs right up into the relatively unspoiled area of the Alentejo Coast National Park
There are two local buses each weekday connecting Odeceixe with places further north. Details here.
Bus 74 runs five times on SCHOOLDAYS ONLY between Aljezur, Vale da Telha and Arrifana
Journeys on Rede-Expressos are more expensive than by the other buses.
Tickets must be obtained before boarding, via www.rede-expressos.pt , their app or at Lagos Bus Station.

These buses run only on Mondays and Fridays, except holidays

# Outbound buses (except those shaded purple) also stop along the Esplanade, on the side nearest the river, at Infante and the other stops.
Inbound buses continue along the Esplanade to Infante; these stops are nearer the town centre
Lagos Bus Terminal is about 5 minutes walk from the Railway Station over a bridge across the river and past the Marina.
This is a lifting bridge for boats and could rise up in front of you, so beware if time is tight!
There are buses every 30/60 minutes from the station into town on weekdays. Weekend service is both irregular and infrequent.

STOPPING PLACES IN ODECEIXE

Rede Expressos services stop at the PAPELARIA NOVAIS shop in Rua das Amoreiras, which on the main road just outside the town centre, by the bridge over the river. Marked in blue on the map here.
Other buses also stop here, then go into the town to a stop near Casa do Rio, marked in red on Google Maps here.

WEEKDAY BUS 'CONNECTIONS' AT ODECEIXE operated by Rodoviária do Alentejo

None of these buses run at weekends or on public holidays.

There are buses at 1030 and 1750 (school holidays) or 1800 (schooldays) from Odeceixe to Santiago de Cacém via São Téotonio and Odemira.

In the reverse direction buses leave Santiago do Cacém at 0705 (schooldays) or 0715 (School holidays) arriving in Odeceixe at 0955; also at 1340 arriving at 1545
The (1750) 1800 bus from Odeceixe also runs via Sines at 1955, as does the 0705 / 0715 bus from Santiago do Cacém stopping at Sines 0730 / 0740.
Those journeys via Sines cannot be found on the website's timetable search!

RX - this is a long-distance coach (bus) to or from Lisbon. Check the  website for more information.
The 1520 from Lagos starts in Portimão at 1500; the 1240 arrival in Lagos continues to Portimão arriving at 1300.
  Tickets for Rede Expressos MUST be obtained before boarding either at the website or at the bus station.
