ABF - from Albufeira via Vilamoura, Quarteira and Almancil. For times between Albufeira and Faro click here.

CAR - starts at Carrapateira 0650
B - this is the closest stop to Fuzeta, about 1.5km away. There are a few buses into Fuzeta on another route; click here for times.
Fuzeta has a fairly centrally placed railway station with service every day but at irregular times. Train times here.
C - All buses in Luz, in both directions, use the same stop, in the square opposite the church.

F - for buses between Alagoa Praia, Altura and Castro Marim, click here. Weekdays only. Buses at Altura (X) also stop near the ALDI and Intermarché supermarkets

Vila Real de Santo António <> Monte Gordo complete service all routes

The 'marginal' route 96 is the one via the Lighthouse and along the coast road.

Vila Real de Santo António to Monte Gordo Rotunda via N125 and Hortas, routes 43, 66 , 67 (and 96)

7 minutes journey. Cash fare on board €2,80

Mondays to Fridays except holidays (weekdays) first bus at 0700, 0755, 0815, 0915, 1000, 1230, 1340, 1515, 1630, 1700, 1745, 1800, 1830.

Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays - only at 0700, 1000, 1315, 1630 and 1800

Monte Gordo Rotunda to Vila Real de Santo António via Hortas and N125 routes 43, 66, 67

The bus stop at Monte Gordo Church is in the square, about 50 metres from the Hotel Navegadores.
All buses in both directions use the same stop, which is about 4 minutes walk to the beach through the pedestrian streets.

Mondays to Fridays except holidays (weekdays) first bus at  0740, 0810, 0848, 1003, 1005, 1103, 1303,  1320,
1435, 1503, 1530, 1648, 1715, then no more buses until 2003.

Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays - only at 0848, 1103, 1330, 1503 and 2003

Bus is numbered route 96 despite the fact it goes a completely different way to the other buses on route 96 below!

THE OTHER BUS BETWEEN VILA REAL DE SANTO ANTÓNIO MONTE GORDO ROUTE 96

Ten minutes journey - one way adult fare €2.80 cash on board - I think. Pre paid reduced fare passes are available at Vila Real Bus Station
In Monte Gordo these buses start and finish outside the Hotel Vasco da Gama on the seafront.
They also stop at the Monte Gordo campsite entrance a minute or two before / after the final stop in town.

Summer service in July, August and until second Sunday of September

Vila Real de Santo António to Monte Gordo Praia via Lighthouse (Farol) and EM511 road (Estrada Marginal)

DAILY at 0830 then every hour until 1230, then at 1445 and every hour until 1845

Monte Gordo Praia to Vila Real de Santo António via Lighthouse (Farol) and EM511 road

DAILY at 0845 then every hour until 1245, then at 1500 and every hour until 1900

Service from 9th September 2024 until 30th June 2025
