Buses stop on the main road by the level crossing, 1 minute walk from the station exit.

Daily - bus runs every day including holidays
MFO - bus runs Mondays to Fridays (weekdays) only except holidays
SSH - bus runs Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays only

There are many more trains at Silves, but there are no other reasonable connections. Taxis do not wait at the station, you would have to call one.

The bus stops are on the main road to the right of the level (grade) crossing as you leave the train, about 70 metres walk.
You will clearly see the bus stops. Cross the road to the stop outside 'O Forinho da Estação' for buses into Silves.
From the station into town it is about 20 minutes walk, downhill, but mostly along a busy road with no footpath.
The reward is nice views of the town across the river. It's steeply uphill almost all the way back! A taxi would cost €4 or €5.
