THE TICKET OFFICE AT FARO BUS STATION IS OPEN AS FOLLOWS :
WEEKDAYS : 0600 - 2000; SATURDAYS , SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS 0715 - 1315; 1415 - 1830.
IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING OUTSIDE THOSE HOURS YOU MUST BUY YOUR TICKET EITHER FROM THE WEBSITE OR AT THE BUS STATION DURING THOSE HOURS. DRIVERS DO NOT SELL TICKETS.

IN LISBON MOST JOURNEYS USE THE SETE RIOS BUS STATION.
SOME JOURNEYS RUN TO AND FROM LISBON ORIENTE BUS STATION. ORIENTE IS MUCH NEARER LISBON AIRPORT.

THE FASTER JOURNEYS ARE NON STOP EXCEPT FOR A 15 - 20 MINUTE STOP AT A SERVICE AREA

Rede-Expressos passengers can they say use local VAMUS buses free of charge (provided you have a Rede Expressos ticket of course!) to travel to or from the Faro bus station stop. I have never met anyone who has actually done this.
Some vehicles may be in the red and white colours of RENEX or green of MTS.

FLIXBUS OPERATES ABOUT TEN JOURNEYS A DAY BETWEEN FARO AND LISBON ORIENTE
THEY STOP AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION IN FARO, OUTSIDE THE CITY CENTRE IN Avenida Eng. Joaquim L. Belchior
This is about 800 metres from the city's railway and bus stations. There is nothing else there, not even a seat!
