IMORTAL WIN THE ALGARVE LEAGUE AND PROMOTED!

Next season, Imortal will be playing in the Campeonato de Portugal, the regionalised fourth division of the national leagues.
Normal game day is Sunday. Kickoffs mostly at 3pm / 1500hrs but in August, September, April and May they will be later.

The Campeonato de Portugal is split into four regional groups. Group D covers the south of the country plus teams in the Lisbon area and two from the Azores.
In the earlier part of the season there will be several weekends without a game, especially if Imortal get knocked out of the Cup!
CAMPEONATO DE PORTUGAL (4th DIVISION) GROUP D
Admission is €?? for adults cash only at the gate and in the bar. Beer is not allowed in the seating area.
Admission was €5 last season. With promotion to a higher league, this might be more next season.
There is a club shop and match day raffle at the top of the steps once you are inside. Again, cash only.
Normal kickoff time is Sunday at 1500hrs / 3pm except in August, April, May and June when it will be later.
No midweek games except for the Algarve Cup and in case of any postponements due to weather etc.
Check kickoff times a week or so beforehand in case of late change
WARNING - there is no access into the spectator areas for wheelchairs etc. There are twenty steps up from the only entrance now open.

Imortal will also be playing in the Algarve Super Cup (League winners v Cup Winners) early in August.

Championship Final
** at the end of first phase, the bottom two teams in each group will be relegated.
The top two teams in each group set into two groups of four, thus six more matches
to determine promotion to Liga 3. The winners of each group will be promoted and
contest the Championship Final.

Venue for home matches is the Estádio Municipal in Albufeira. Spot the full size synthetic grass pitch top left where junior teams play.

This is the place with the tall floodlights you can see from a long distance away.
It's about 10 minutes walk from the 'Watches' roundabout, McDonald's etc.
Local Giro buses on number 6 and number 9 routes stop outside. Click the route number for times.
The stadium is 5 minutes walk from the main bus station where every bus in town goes.
There is a large free parking area right outside.
