These fares apply to REGIONAL (local)
trains in the Algarve. Much higher fares apply if you use (Alfa
Pendular) AP or Intercidades (IC) trains for these local journeys.
Seat reservation is COUMPULSORY on all AP and IC trains.
On REGIONAL trains there is no discount for advance purchase.

Tickets for these trains can be
purchased at the railway website www.cp.pt or using their 'app'
and it's in English.
Most stations are unstaffed - if you don't have a ticket, buy your
ticket on the train and have some cash with you! Cards are not accepted on board.
Train tickets are often cheaper than buses between the same two
places.
